My Biology adventure today!

Today, I arrived to class eager to learn. And learn I did, here is the low-down!

We started off by Wallace checking our bio review sheets. Please contain your shock, I was amazed as well, to discover that not only is their a review sheet, but...

We are having a test wednesday about Vertebrates and Invertebrates. It is 60 questions plus a couple of juicy essays. SCARY!!! YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

Not only should you be ready for a test wednesday (or absent), but there is a vocab poem due as well. The words can be found on Wallace's school page and the poem must contain ten of these words. Though please note Wallie wants these poems to be longer than ten sentences and to actually make sense. So, get to it Busters!

Additionally, the Grand Finale of our Biology card assignment is upon us! The final card, the animal one shall be due this friday.

Listen up gang, this is a big week in our biological lives, so no sleeping, or goofing around, we need to keep our heads in the game. And Mr. Wallace, if you are reading this right now, I love you man, and I'm sorry about last friday, I'll tell you the whole story tomorrow.

PEACE AND LOVE
E.N.T. (That's how it's going to be)

Blogging Assignment

I cannot believe that hardly anyone has actually done a blog for their day! If you cannot figure out how to do it please come in and I will be happy to help you. If you are just being lazy, take pride in your work and do something to promote your education, not to mention allowing students that missed school to find out exactly what they missed.

Wallie's Favourite?

Who do you think Mr. Wallace's favourite student is from our class? It's such a vibrant group of people, but their must be one student who just makes him tick. So, let's discuss!!!

1-17

This is how I would like your class synopsis to be:

In Class today: We participated in a transmission activity that had us simulating body fluid exchange. We each had a cup filled with fluid that we eventually exchanged with 4 other people. Mr. Wallace then came around and put an indicator into the cup which tested to see if the disease was present. If it was, the solution turned a bright pink. We then washed our hands with this orange fluid that was supposed to help clean the indicator, but really showed us where we still needed to wash after we put our hands under a blacklight. We also watched a movie on bacteria, it structure and charcteristics.

For Homework: Read pages 487-500, extra credit article is due on Friday, and continue working on the kingdom cards which are due on January 29th.
